Anxious to get things rolling

I met with a counselor at Citrus College a few weeks ago. I found out that I have to retake only two classes and get a “C” to get my GPA above 2.0. I register for those classes on December 4th. I’m so stoked it wasn’t more than that!

What’s on my radar now?

I’m trying to catch up any outstanding “issues” I have with people. I have projects with a some people that I need to tend to, and I just have to get those completed so I don’t tick them off.

Update 12/5/2006: From the request of a Primerica attorney, I’ve removed references to them until further notice. No biggie.

Hi Twitter

I’m on Twitter now, partially because I wanted to grab “bryan” for my username. (Sweet!) Add me!

Unfortunately, Verizon Wireless doesn’t have any unlimited text messaging plans, so I’ll probably just turn off alerts unless I’m away from the computer. Pretty nifty, but I’m not sure what I can really use it for yet. I’m not even sure if any of you (who I know personally) will even try it out. You know what I mean. At least you can delete your account if you don’t care for it.

Movie theater prices too high?

I’m not sure why I keep going to movie theaters, but I do. Tonight, I went to see a movie at the AMC Santa Anita 16. How much is the student price? $9.00! What happened?

I didn’t notice any improvements in the theaters. I have lots of TV shows to catch up on at home, and I think I’ll just wait until those movies come out on DVD.

What do I miss out on? At the moment, a big screen, surround sound, lines, and parking. I’ll be retiring my MovieWatcher card until ticket prices ease up – unless peer pressure from friends force me to go. ;)

This whole “issue” hit me because the price was $8.50 a few weeks ago, and I didn’t see any reason for the price hike. Do any of you feel the same way?

Call from Maine?

Did anyone call me from Maine yesterday at 1:11pm PST? They didn’t leave a voicemail message, and it got me curious.

“Office Space” Recut

Have you seen “Office Space“? If so, you’ll get a kick out of this – it doesn’t even look anything close to being a comedy!

Silas and I were supposed to meet up with other photography classmates for long exposure photos from Cow Canyon Saddle by Mt. Baldy Village1. That didn’t happen. Once we got to the turnout on Glendora Ridge Rd, we just saw a sign and a road leading into an RV park. There wasn’t a mention of Cow Canyon [...]

I didn’t ask Bill to pose or smile. I liked his second portrait, but that wasn’t as sharp. Boo me. Reflections of myself and Bill’s dad (upper left) was deliberate. Taken inside his dad’s garage, and hopefully soon to be his recording studio. View on Flickr

  • A gift of film November 10, 2009
Jon Swanson emailed me last Friday and asked if I wanted any color Fuji 35mm film. He didn’t tell me how many rolls he had in his possession. Most importantly, he didn’t want a dime. I asked him how much he had, but he persisted that I give him a number. I requested eight rolls of 200 film1. [...]
