My phone line/DSL connection was down this week from Monday night thru Thursday around 1pm. Not sure what I did to kill time because of that, but it wasn’t anything crazy. It’s been a mellow week for the most part.
I went with Bill to Dave & Buster’s for his 21st birthday. That was great fun! (Yes, that did sound corny.) I’m stoked that Javy, Art and Devon came back from the long trip. We went out to BJ’s Wednesday night. Nice to catch up with those guys.
After a long day at work on Thursday, I went to Bill’s to record yet another track for our demo. Unfortunately, I found out tonight that I need to work on it some more. (No regrets, I want to be happy with what I recorded.)
Friday was super chill. Went to Denny’s for breakfast with mom, then whittled down my inbox for a few hours. Napped for a bit, then caught up on some shows I’ve downloaded. (Shh.) Then…poker!
I just got home around 2:00am. It was good, but I’m a steady player that usually gets 3rd place. (Is steady the right word?) I’d like to improve my skills, though – I’ll borrow a learning DVD from Jay, hopefully tomorrow.
Doesn’t that all sound mellow? I’ve still got Saturday and Sunday ahead of me, too. Good…morning?
