Holiday photos

I uploaded almost all the photos I took from Christmas and my birthday festivities. Not too many are titled or have a description; I was just trying to get them uploaded. Camp pictures will be up soon, and I’ll edit this post to reflect those as well. Enjoy!

Out on college retreat

I’ll be out of town until Thursday afternoon with my college group for time away from, well, everything down here. See you on the flip side. ;)

My birthday

It’s 2am, and I’m up because I woke up and couldn’t go back to sleep. So, I’ve decided to write about today’s events on my 24th birthday.

Up thru Christmas Eve

Working, staying up late (either watching something dumb on cable or playing PS2), or having band practice [these past two days], I’ve been keeping myself preoccupied. I just came back from Jordan’s for Christmas Eve dinner. They’re great, and so are my friends who hooked me up with gifts. I know I shouldn’t feel bad that I couldn’t get gifts for anyone, but I can’t help it. In any case, since Christmas falls on a Sunday, we have our usual service at 10am. So much for sleeping in.

I forgot my camera at my friend’s house, so I didn’t take any pictures tonight. If they bring it for me tomorrow, I’ll take some at the parties I’ll be going too.

Merry Christmas! Er, if you celebrate something else, then happy holidays…

Keep me awake!

While walking across the street from the Wiltern to the Wilshire/Western subway, this man walked between the cars asking for money. The print is pretty much how I envisioned it. Unfortunately, I’m still trying to get more detail between the man’s head and the trees in the distance. This is probably my 8th print attempt. I’m [...]

Silas and I were supposed to meet up with other photography classmates for long exposure photos from Cow Canyon Saddle by Mt. Baldy Village1. That didn’t happen. Once we got to the turnout on Glendora Ridge Rd, we just saw a sign and a road leading into an RV park. There wasn’t a mention of Cow Canyon [...]

November 12, 2009 — A photo I took of the Rx Bandits rocking out at The Glass House (Pomona, CA). More to come, of course. Thanks to Cathy and Chase from Sargent House for the photo pass (again)! View on Flickr

  • Bill November 10, 2009
I didn’t ask Bill to pose or smile. I liked his second portrait, but that wasn’t as sharp. Boo me. Reflections of myself and Bill’s dad (upper left) was deliberate. Taken inside his dad’s garage, and hopefully soon to be his recording studio. View on Flickr
